Ever heard the one about thinking outside the box? Allow me to ask a question on the subject: what’s in the box to begin with? The norm? The status quo? Cliches and overbearing formulas? Why is there a need to get outside of the box to begin with? A fresh perspective? A new outlook on an old problem? New formulas to replace the old? Here’s my answer in the form of another adage: out with the old, in the with new. Why should the box remain in tack if so many people are trying to get out? People pry the lid open, desperate for the light which precedes from the outside, just to feel its warmth for the first time in a long time, a glimpse of something new. The old world is dying. Our society is a cancerous, infested heap of flesh marching ever onwards to its prophesied doom, yet we are blind to these facts. We instead choose to ignore them in favor of greed, in favor of lust, in favor of industry, in favor of all things which further brings forth our own self-destruction.
